Climax Mine Maintenance Facility

Project Overview

High-Altitude Roofing at 11,000 Feet

The maintenance facility at Climax sits above 11,000 feet, where UV exposure, extreme wind, and heavy snow load push roofing systems harder than almost anywhere else in Colorado. We specced a mechanically-attached membrane system rated for the altitude and wind exposure, with reinforced fastening at every edge and penetration.

The completed 22,000 SF roof has held up through two full winters at elevation without a single callback.
